Questions regarding unemployment compensation:
Q: Are employees entitled to unemployment compensation while on furlough?
A. It is possible that furloughed employees may become eligible for unemployment compensation. State unemployment compensation requirements differ. Some States require a 1-week waiting period before an individual qualifies for payments. Agencies or employees should submit questions to the appropriate State (or District of Columbia) office. In general, the law of the State in which an employee’s last official duty station in Federal civilian service was located will be the State law that determines eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits.

I am too. I think Bobby Scott(I think that's his name) a Rep is going to announce on 7/1 whether or not he's going to primary Kaine. From what I understand Scott's more progressive but Kaine is more likely more electable

eeg -if I remember right, all the museums closed too when this happened - though I could be wrong since I think the Smithsonian is funded in other ways besides with some fed money

Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.

That game was a combo-bimation. On one hand the defense for both teams was insane and that caused the low score all around.. but then you had Butler who couldn't buy a bucket even if their booster club held a bake sale.

OK, now that I'm relatively happy with this PC setup I guess I can check in from time to time.
Scrounged up a second monitor this morning so I can be like everyone else and spent the requisite few hours searching for the proper video drivers that allow multiple monitors, looks like IT only installs generic drivers that are "just good enough". It's up to the poor sap end-user to go to Dell and determine what will really work.

Only reason I cared was because Jim Calhoun used to coach at Northeastern (the Reggie Lewis days). But I couldn't use even that to justify staying up to nearly 10 just to watch the start. I probably would have fallen asleep and woken up at 3AM with a stiff and sore neck.

I'm guessing your computer has either integrated graphics or a entry-level graphics card? There's a very small chance the computer might not be able to supply enough power to run a second monitor, depending what you're running on the machine.

Glen, we support you 100%. I am very mad at Fox and will stop my viewing of Fox and their programing. We would like a list of all the companies that stopped advertising with your show because of pressure from the left. Two can play the same game and we are a strong and united group that can financially put pressure on spineless companies that are afraid of the truth being told!
My name is Rich and a very successful businessman from Long Island and if I can help you and your cause in any way just get back to me on my email posted in the next section.

John Boehner was driven to tears again today. This time it happened at a closed-door meeting of House Republicans.
According to sources inside the meeting, Boehner it happened while Boehner was speaking to the group about the latest on his negotiations with Democrats over government funding. Boehner talked about his meeting yesterday with President Obama and then, in a rousing conclusion, he thanked the House Republicans for standing by him and supporting him through these tense negotiations.
The Republican conference responded with a standing ovation for their speaker.
As you could imagine, that prompted the Speaker to cry.
“Yes,†said one person at the meeting, “He cried, but only briefly.â€

Fortunately, Severin has a face made for radio.
On March 31, 2011, it was revealed that Greater Media had again suspended Severin, for an "indefinite" period, the air, according to Jim Romenesko's Media News blog on the Poynter Institute website, 'after telling WTKK-FM listeners that he hired “mostly attractive young women†as interns and slept with nearly all of them.'
