If you’d told me five years ago that on March 23, 2015, the Affordable Care Act would exceed expectations on every possible metric, including reducing the nation’s uninsured rate by a third, I’d say “Obamacare” would look like a great success. And fortunately for the country, that’s exactly what’s happened.
Failed Prediction #1: Americans won’t enroll in the ACA
Failed Prediction #2: The ACA won’t meet its enrollment goals
Failed Prediction #3: Insurers will want no part of the ACA system
Failed Prediction #4: The economy will suffer terribly because of ‘Obamacare’
Failed Prediction #5: Even if Americans enrolled, they won’t pay their premiums
Failed Prediction #6: Even if people pay their premiums, the flawed ACA structure will send premiums soaring
Failed Prediction #7: The ACA won’t reduce the uninsured rate because it will only help those who already have coverage
Failed Prediction #8: The ACA will lead to a “net loss” on overall coverage
Failed Prediction #9: The ACA will lead to higher deficits and a weaker fiscal footing for the nation
Failed Prediction #10: Americans will end up hating the coverage they receive through the ACA

Oh, and the Globe had multiple editorials and opinionators urging our senator to challenge Hillary.
Sorry, no. I'd like her to finish one term as a senator before moving on...

I would like her to remain Senator for a while as well, She is a great asset to the country as well.
Massachusetts deceives some stability with Senators for a while as well.

She's much more valuable where she is. Unless the people wake up and vote out the warmongering obstructionists there is little sense wasting her talents in the White House.
Again and again, the activists jumped to their feet, cheering on such promises as breaking up big banks, reining in Wall Street’s “reckless gambling†and addressing the country’s “gross concentrated wealth.â€
They might have been listening to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), whose populist crusade on income equality, health care and Social Security have prompted legions of liberal Democrats to try to draft her into a bid for the presidency.
But the speaker was Martin O’Malley, the former Maryland governor who spent the weekend stumping across Iowa.
As O’Malley positions himself to challenge Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination, he is competing for support not only with the former first lady and secretary of state but with Warren, a onetime Harvard law professor whose devotees haven’t given up on a White House bid despite her repeated pledges that she is not running.

Polls in the Granite State show overwhelming support for new legislation naming Rep. Warren Groen New Hampshire’s official state moron.
It was during recent debate on a bill drafted by Hampton Falls fourth-graders to name the red-tailed hawk official state raptor that the Rochester Republican distinguished himself as a true right-wing birdbrain.

Hi! I hope that everyone is well! (I am on spring break this week after a very hectic week.)
As for Ted Cruz, I have to ask how he thinks he can win the primaries with right wing rhetoric and then try to appeal to undecided voters in the general election
As for Senator Warren, I believe that she would be a great candidate. I suspect that she will remain in the Senate, seeking to build a progressive movement and help candidates I would hope that we see a vigorous debate among the Democrats leading up to the nomination.

I regret that I have entered a nest of vipers today. Tangling with a RWLM on a veteran's site over the signs and seals of the confederacy (aka enemies of the Union). So far, I have been amused. I expect it may be mere minutes until the name- calling begins.

Lemme guess - the stars and bars aren't a racist symbol, states rights, southern way of life, blah blah blah...
close?
Cruz has previously said that he receives his health insurance through his wife's Goldman plan and has boasted about not needing to receive government health care benefits.
It's unclear what health care plan the Texas senator will choose while his wife is on leave from Goldman. Cruz's spokespeople didn't immediately return requests for this information.
Lawmakers generally are required to receive insurance through Obamacare unless they're able to obtain coverage from another source. Cruz has built a political brand by vocally opposing that system. If he were to go on the congressional health care plan, he could encounter plenty of criticism.
