Over the weekend, TriSec posted
a blog detailing events happening as they related to the predictions in Revelations. For another take on this, one could look at our warming planet as a descent into Hell. We are literally roasting ourselves alive.
To wit:
Nearly 100 people died in India over the last few days, due to a heatwave with temperatures reaching 109 degrees F. Considering that most "hot tubs" have a max temp of 105, this is horrendous, especially since there's no good way to cool off. One area of India reached
113 degrees.
Due to massive storms in the southern parts of the U.S., several states lost power. Accompanying this is a triple-digit heat wave with humidity making the heat index even higher. Some people will be without electricity until the coming weekend. Of course TX is not on the national grid, so good luck there, anti-government nutjobs.
The north Atlantic Ocean is experiencing a record heat wave, with temperatures
9 degrees warmer than usual. That is shocking, and dangerous for aquatic wildlife. It could also disrupt the Gulf Stream, which keeps Europe warmer than the U.S./Canada at the same latitudes. April and May had the warmest surface temps on record.
As if that wasn't enough,
pollution is disrupting the insect world's prime communication method. Insects communicate via pheromones for mating. Pollution is interfering with the insect's creation of pheromones, which can cause insect populations to plummet. Considering that they are near the bottom of the food chain, and some are pollinators, this does not bode well for food/crop production.
For a deeper dive,
this article contains some charts which show just how
off the charts (pun intended) our current climate measurements are. The charts include global temps, ocean temps, Antarctic sea ice levels, and CO2 levels.
I highly recommend reading the articles at the links. I cannot do them justice here with just some summations. The cumulative effect from reading them shows us about to head over a cliff, sooner than scientists had predicted. As Pogo once said, "we have met the enemy, and he is us". We're the frogs in the pot as the water gets hotter.
