Good Morning.
We won't have much on this Christmas Eve. I'm just back from an overnight shift and about to crash for a while. Still got more baking to do before tonight's festivities!
Our Veterans have often spent the holidays far from home and loved ones. I quoted just one story below, but
my usual source has a bevy of them today.
Dinner Table, 1997
"[I came] home after 13 months in Korea in 1997 [and was] still in uniform. My grandparents had the tree and decorations up in January. I sat at the kids table. I, of course, was used to it, and my WWll vet grandpa said, 'You're sitting next to me now. You more than earned the right. Get over here.' I had happy tears the rest of the day."

And don't forget to track Santa all day with NORAD!
