So I found out what B*sh's scheduling conflict was yesterday.

Former President George W. Bush visited Northwest Arkansas Thursday. According to Walmart reps, he's in town to receive the Patriot Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Foundation. It's the Society's highest award.

Pres. Bush is scheduled to receive the award during a gala at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art Thursday evening. Gov. Mike Huckabee will emcee the event. Doug McMillon & Bill Simon, two of Walmart's CEOs will be in attendance as well.

Also among the gala's honorees are the 14 Medal of Honor recipients in Northwest Arkansas, who were also honored in a special ceremony at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville Thursday morning. CLICK HERE to read more about that event and the veterans who attended.
Let it sink in for a bit…
A special ceremony was held today at Walmart to honor some our Nation's top heroes.

More than a dozen Medal of Honor recipients were on hand sharing their stories of service and sacrifice at the Home Office.

The award is the highest one given for valor in action.

Bruce Crandall is a recipient and was a Major in the Army as part of a helicopter battalion during Vietnam.

His company helped to deliver troops and rescue dozens in the battle area under heavy fire from the enemy.

Bruce Crandall, Medal of Honor Recipient said, "It was the first real experience with helicopters in a combat role and we proved that it would work. We didn't know how well we would last until we did that day.

Crandal and several other recipients are part of the Medal of Honor Society.

The group goes to schools to promote a better understanding to students what courage and sacrifice truly means.

Good morning, bloggers!

I hope that everyone is doing well.

This coming week, I start orientation for the RV delivery job, so I wll not be around as much during the day. (Monday, I am driving a friend to downstate Illinois for a business meeting.)

I feel very sad that Randi is leaving. I suspect she is being forced out, probably by not getting the support that Clear Channel gives other hosts. It is because of Randi and other AAR hosts that I met a lot of people, so let's try to celebrate a great run even while we are saddened by a show ending far too soon.

I guess for Walmart, someone who ignores presidential daily briefs, whose administration did not pay attention to warnings that Osama bin Laden was determined to attack the U.S., and lying us into war is honorable. Those who received ACTUAL Congressional Medals of Honor may not feel that this was an award that Mr. Bush deserved.

Is George W. Bush was anymore of a narcissist, he would release a YouTube video of him nude before a mirror.

You know, if the 10-30 (million) expected at this rally really... REALLY were concerned with the well-being of this nation, they'd forget about this and go help with flood control.

But you know, I'm just some communistic, compassionate, libby lib-lib.

Checking the Ustream link, they're supposed to broadcast starting at 12 noon... and they're bringing the power of technology with them!

**FEED** To Go Live at 12 NOON EST, Be patient if it's off air.. There will be 15 minutes of coverage every couple of hours. We are streaming from smart phone, so have to conserve power
