May 1st! Everyone will be eligible for vaccination on May 1st!

That's just 50 days or 49 sleeps away. There is a tentative end in sight and its not a bullet train, although with idiots opening up states too soon it could be a steam locomotive, but at best it might be just one of those comical hand cars if we're lucky.

There is hope. There is some planning for a summer that could see something that's close to before pandemic normal. Though still wear a mask.

Have a great weekend and stay safe everyone!

Morning

Finally was able to get Mom an appointment with Kaiser to get part 1 on Saturday, and while I was doing that Kaiser sent me a thing to get mine. So we will both be getting our part 1 tomorrow. I feel better knowing she is getting hers.

Continuing here in Massachusetts - we've opened YET ANOTHER website for scheduling, so there's at least 3 or 4 quasi-official places to go wait online for hours.

Beth Israel Hospital sent me an email to schedule my appointment, since "You are eligible for the vaccine", but in checking the state website, I am not - so nobody even knows who can get one.

Looks like I will be waiting until that May 1 date.

So much for being an "essential worker".

Yeah, VA has not called either my mom or me for an appointment. Kaiser did, and this is after I was told that Kaiser wasn't going to keep doing shots in VA since VA wasn't giving them enough vaccine. So the message Kaiser sent to Mom I jumped at, screw the state at this point, they're taking to long to organize.

I guess being in the nursing home helped me with getting my shot early. I received both my Moderna shots and now I still wait on more prosthetic adjustments.
