They really are that stupid.

Here it is folks, The GOP plan to lower the cost of child care... Grandma and Grandpa. That right, it's time for them to stop slacking and step it up. No, I am not kidding.

Vance wants us all to have kids. Then when it proves to be as expensive as people say it is, we should put our parents back to work. Except that some grandparents STILL are working, or they have a second job because SS doesn't quite cover the bills.

Or maybe they have passed. Maybe they live thousands of miles away-- the list can go on. They really are that stupid but they are also that cruel.

Good morning, bloggers!!!!

I find it depressing that every school that I am looking at has a safety plan based on the thought that a shooting could occur at any time.

I have two interviews today. One in Pasadena for their center for independent studies. Later, an online interview with a charter school in the Koreatown neighborhood.

Thanks for all your support.

As for the GOP economic plah, we tried it prior to 1933. It stinks and no longer works. If they are so keen on reviving the 1950s, how about a 90 percent tax rate for the upper income bracket? How about jobs that will allow one wage earner to live with dignity? How about not going back to the discrimination that existed then? Hmm, challenging them on that might be amusing.

The GOP is tone deaf on so many things.

I have written extensively in this space about the trials and tribulations of not being able to produce a child "in the normal manner" and all that entails to 'acquire' one. (Probably the wrong term, I know.)

Yes it's expensive. Trust me on this.
