Tonight at sunset marks Yom Kippur for the Jewish Year 5785. I will spend the next day in prayer and fasting. I will reflect on what I have done wrong this year and how I can be a better person. If I have harmed you, I ask your forgiveness. If you have hurt me, I forgive all who have harmed me this year and earlier. (I do not have the energy for bitterness.) It has been a challenging year, and much uncertainty lies ahead of me. However, I am grateful for my family and my friends. I wish you well. G'mar chatimah tovah!!! May we all be inscribed for a good year in the Book of Life. Shalom aleichem!!!
