Challenger once flew
In Peace for Mankind
Now Trump destroys all.

REMEMBER CHALLENGER

And indeed - remember when better men sat in the White House. Mr. Reagan may have begun America's long decline - but on this night, 39 years ago - this was his finest hour.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air ....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew—
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

John Gillespie Magee, Jr.

Hello, bloggers!!!!

I remember being in college and hearing about it from a classmate. I was stunned and in disbelief.

A little later, I went to a cafeteria with a screen whose words showed national headlines. I was saddened even more.

I do not think that Trump could be as eloquent and uniting as Reagan was in this moment. I have to ask if Trump has ever mourned any loss that did not impact him directly.

Good morning.

When trump said spigot, did he mean bigot?
