Bad Morning.

I really just can't today.

Here's the link to my preferred military source: Military Daily News

There's so much going on this morning, but here's the story that's above the fold there.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday announced that he is renaming Fort Moore -- the name chosen to honor decorated Vietnam Army commander Hal Moore and his wife Julia -- less than two years after the base was scrubbed of its previous name honoring a Confederate general.

The Army will return the famed Georgia base to Fort Benning, the name originally chosen in honor of Confederate Henry Benning. However, to keep the name and adhere to a law passed by Congress to eliminate names honoring Confederates, Hegseth chose a World War I junior noncommissioned officer, Cpl. Fred G. Benning, who served with valor and earned the Distinguished Service Cross, as the base's new namesake.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Meanwhile, we've completely surrendered to the Russian Federation.

WASHINGTON, March 4 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has paused military aid to Ukraine following his clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy last week, a White House official said, deepening the fissure that has opened between the one-time allies.
Trump upended U.S. policy on Ukraine and Russia upon taking office in January, opening talks with Moscow. The reversal culminated in an explosive confrontation with Zelenskiy at the White House on Friday, in which Trump upbraided him for being insufficiently grateful for Washington's backing.

"President Trump has been clear that he is focused on peace. We need our partners to be committed to that goal as well. We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution," said the official on Monday, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The White House had no immediate comment on the scope and amount of aid affected or how long the pause would last. The Pentagon could not provide further details.
There was no immediate response from Zelenskiy, but Oleksandr Merezhko, head of the Ukrainian parliament's foreign affairs committee, said it looked like Trump was "pushing us towards capitulation".

So never mind all that talk about annexing Greenland or Canada.

When we weren't looking, Russia annexed us.
